The Highland Hills Apartments is the largest student housing complex in Mankato, serving the off-campus housing needs of the Minnesota State University Mankato community. We have ample housing for nearly 1800 students and pride ourselves in providing them with a secure, comfortable, attractive place to live. Our popular, convenient location is right across the street from the MSU campus. This saves our resident on car expenses, gas, and university parking fees. The Mankato Bus Line runs on both sides of our property, if our residents prefer to take the bus to Mankato shopping locations.

We offer 9 different apartment plans and 8 sizes to choose from - Studio, One, Two, Three, and Four-Bedroom units - to meet anyone's housing needs. Best of all, it is at a price you can afford! All of the apartments are cooled with air-conditioning for your summer comfort. Mini blinds or drapes are included on all windows for your privacy. Laundry facilities are conveniently located in your apartment, building or on the property. We offer basic TV cable free of charge. We also offer a variety of cable and high speed internet packages for a nominal fee.

Highland Hills Apartments has the honor of being the first City of Mankato apartment to have completed the new Crime Free Multi-Housing Landlord Training Program. For our residents, this means: We have joined forces with the City of Mankato to respond constructively to the problem of illegal activity on the property. We have implemented tried and true crime prevention strategies, under the direction of the Mankato Crime-Free Coordinator. We have made a commitment to improve the quality of life for our residents by providing them with a crime-free, drug-free atmosphere. To enforce this commitment we support our own on-site security personnel. We offer a responsive, around the clock maintenance team, answering your emergency calls 24 hour/day. Our full time, friendly management staff is also available on site to help you with your rent payment or housing questions.
