Where are Whispering Pines Apartments located? Follow Highway 10 to Hanson Boulevard. Exit south on Hanson. Take a left when you come to Coon Rapids Boulevard. Take another left at Jay Street. Follow the signs to the Leasing Office. You can find more information and a map on the Location page. What size are your apartments? The one-bedroom apartments are 731 sq. ft. The two-bedroom apartments are 936 sq. ft. or 1022 sq. ft. The three-bedroom apartments are 1193 sq. ft. You can find more information on the Floor Plans page. How much is the application fee and security deposit? The application fee for Minnesota residents is $35 per person or $50 per married couple. For non-residents the fee is $50 per person or $60 per married couple The base security deposit is $500 per apartment. This may vary depending on certain factors. See the Resident Manager for more specifics. What is the term of the lease? They are all 12 month leases. We occasionally offer a six-month lease from depending on availability. How much is the rent? One-bedroom units start at $735 Two-bedroom units start at $825 Three-bedroom units are $1,025 You can find more information on the Rates page. What utilities do residents pay? How much can residents expect their utility bills to be? The utilities cost vary among the different apartment styles. Tenants pay for their heat and electric. Water, sewer, and rubbish removal is provided. What should I do before coming to Whispering Pines to move in? * Be sure that all deposit payments are made and that the rent is paid for the first month. You may bring the first months rent with you if you are moving in on the first day of the month. This applies not only to you, but also to your roommates. As your lease is joint and several, no one will be given keys until all tenants living in your apartment have made the necessary payments. * You will need to notify the electric, water and gas companies that you are moving in so you do not need to contact them. * Get Renter’s Insurance. Although we are very security conscious, theft is always a possibility even in the best neighborhood. We recommend obtaining some type of renter’s insurance either as a separate policy or as a rider on your parents’ homeowner’s insurance. It may prove to be a very reasonable precaution. How do I get keys to my new apartment? You should come directly to the office when you arrive in Coon Rapids to move in. If you are coming after regular office hours or on a weekend, you should call the office on the prior business day so that arrangements can be made to meet you.
